Abstract

Abstract: This practice focus paper examines the documentation of preservice teacher learning journeys through digital inquiry based portfolios. It is through, with and by the development of these iPortfolios that the students create layers of meaning for themselves, their peers and the staff who interact with them on that teaching and learning journey. Since the evolving of the learning and the documentation of that journey was entirely self inquiry based, the process and the product became indicative of the individual, capturing the uniqueness of each particular journey; transforming to become the I, I, I, content and the essence of an iPortfolio.
