Abstract

In cooperative learning, it is one of available evaluation methods that students in the learning community evaluate each other. As a result of the experiment executed before the practice, it was found that whether a learner evaluates one another influences the results of evaluation. We developed a report evaluating support system for peer evaluation that helps to select the evaluator so that the evaluation is impartial and to adjust selected evaluators' characteristic. In this paper, we describe the educational effect of mutual evaluation using our system in ICT education. As a result of the practice, it was found that the students were able not only to improve their report, but also increase ability to evaluate others.
