Abstract

The Young Scientists Lab (YSL) festival was designed for students in grades 3-5 to develop standard-based lessons and activities, and build conceptual understanding of specific science topics through technology integration. This paper focuses Young Scientists Lab experience, introduces the lab for elementary science teachers and students. The Young Scientist Lab Festival directly linked to using technology in science classroom and develops standard-based teaching and learning for science education.
