Abstract

The paper is to examine whether online professional development for teachers is effective or not. The effectiveness the researcher looked into was through an overview of many studies that identify some advantages for online professional development. The studies have proven that online professional development are effective because of some traits, such as remote locations, convenience, technology development, teachers' positive attitudes, collaboration among teachers, and students' achievement
