Abstract

The following is a brief discussion of the process by which a state-mandated online training was created, designed, redesigned, and disseminated to colleges and universities in Kentucky. In the fall of 2013, a standardized online version of Training Part B was designed in Adobe Captivate for approximately 25 colleges and universities in Kentucky. This training was designed by the current author, who acted as the instructional designer with a team of trainers. In the fall of 2014, the current author redesigned the training, not only in an attempt to meet the needs of the participants, but also to meet the needs of the colleges and universities in Kentucky.
