Abstract

Applications of Augmented Reality have been increasingly receiving attention for decades. Augmented Reality makes the use of computer-generated content that it overlays on real views or scenes, in real-time, tracking user’s movements and change of the view, with the aim to produce a single, enhanced reality. Those kinds of interesting features can be utilized in a variety of fields, such the Education, Architecture, Art and Design, to help enhance the understanding of abstract concepts or concrete stuff. This paper presents an overview of Augmented Reality technology and explicitly describes its recently application in learning. Next, several limitations of using Augmented Reality technology from previous research will be pointed out and discussed in two ways: technology issue and learning issue. Finally, according to each limitation of the use of Augmented Reality technology, several solutions will be proposed for a development or improvement in the future.
