Abstract

Lyssa is an authoring tool which supports the creation of IMS and SCORM compatible courses. Additionally, it offers several mechanisms for data exchange with Learning Management Systems and facilitates the collaborative work of teams. This paper describes how Lyssa cooperate together with the known systems Blackboard, WebCT and MS LRN Toolkit. The occurring barriers as well as special capabilities of Lyssa are described in detail and for each problem several solutions are shown to make the everyday life of authors easier.
