Abstract

The National Assessment Center for Higher Education (CENEVAL) in México faces important challenges in the educative reality, and is responding through the use and diffusion of emerging ICT technologies (for distance training, testing and reporting) to reach the growing needs in the assessment field, promoting an assessment culture throughout the country. The impact of the developments related, relay on providing to teachers and decision-policy makers tools and first hand information to help improving and adjusting strategic planning to all academic purposes, from the institution to classroom.
