The aim of this study is to describe successful e-commerce strategies that schools can use to develop distance education. The literature review will be examined in terms of knowing customers, pricing, building Internet communities, building customizable Web sites, and the quality of content. It will help instructors to understand what students view about distance learning, decrease faculty members' and students' gap of perceptions about distance learning, and also improve teaching strategies that use other methods of distance learning.
