Abstract

This paper will highlight some of the key issues in teacher training and development that accompany technology integration into middle and high schools. Areas in which training becomes necessary range from pedagogical decisions in incorporating technology into the curriculum to leadership training for teachers who adopt a role in the change process. These opportunities can take a variety of forms and can improve or worsen the probability of the classroom changes to take root and flourish.
