A new technological platform DSED (Dynamic Systems for E-Document) is presented in this paper. The platform incorporates, into a new traditional e-learning tool, a system of knowledge management and cooperative work. A description of innovation characteristics (multi-layer design) and functional advantages (easiness, efficiency, adaptability…) is made. The new opportunities that this new system offers in the teaching processes through DSED are also presented. Some real cases where this platform has been used, in order to offer new services and improve the existing ones, are mentioned.
