Abstract
In this presentation, the experience of a hands-on undergraduate instructional technology course will be shared from both the instructor’s and the students’ points of view. The course requirements comprised instructional design and implementation of Web 2.0 applications such as blogs, wikis, forums, online videos, chat, WebQuests as well as course design on the increasingly popular CMS, Moodle. The presentation will cover the processes, student products such as lessons or courses designed using Web 2.0 applications and a CMS, successes, frustrations and ways of dealing with these frustrations.
