Abstract
The study aims to survey university students' knowledge management (KM) competencies in an e-learning environment in Taiwan. Four hundred and eight-three university students are taken as research subjects, and a structured questionnaire is used as the research instrument. The results show that university students generally have good KM competencies in an e-learning environment, and that those who use the Internet more frequently have better KM competencies. Among different dimensions of KM competencies, the scores of explicit dimension are significantly higher than those of tacit dimension, while the scores of active dimension are higher than those of passive dimension.
