Using Personal Perspectives to Increase Understanding
Thomas Vander Wal, KM World, United States
Through out our lives we connect well to things that we can tie to things we already know. Learning something new as an extension or tangent to what we already have experience with or understand has huge benefits with retention and understanding the new ideas and concepts. In a world were online learning is increasing having an understanding of how to use what exists in a person and/or group's context has a lot of value. Thomas will walk through how digital environments can help individuals and others benefit from framing new information in existing context and how all can benefit.
