Abstract

The purpose of the study is to evaluate u-learning pilot program in schools launched by the Korean government in March 2005. The target students, applied subjects, used devices, and the ways of applying the program to schools were different depending on the contextual factors of each school. This study is contributed to investigating the feasibility of the program for schools in Korea so that we can consider what contextual and implemental factors in educational system are affecting in achieving the program’s outcomes. Also identifying and utilizing the main stakeholders’ concerns in evaluation design can lead to developing the various evaluation questions & data collection methods and revealing the multiple facets in evaluating the educational program.
