Abstract

To meet the increasing demand for change in the infusion of ICT pedagogy in education the Greek Ministry of Education launched a nationwide project of in service training of teachers of the second level, training of teachers in the use and evaluation of the pedagogy of ICT in classroom instruction. The writer, aims through the study, to evaluate and identify the outcomes of the project in terms of the teacher-trainees’ acquisition and promotion of ICT pedagogic practices and competencies in classroom instruction, any actual changes in identities, attitudes and overall stance of the teachers during and after the course, any development and promotion or not of ICT pedagogic activities in the class as well as any relation of teachers’ identities and attitudes, certain methods of training and support to the utilization or not of educational ICT.
