Abstract

This paper introduces a model for implementation of National Society for Experimental Education Standards of Practice into an online undergraduate course adapted from the Quality Matters 05/06 Rubric (C) 2005 MarylandOnline, Inc. Please contact MarylandOnline, Inc. (www.qualitymatters.org) for more information. The principles for NSEE and the Quality Matters 05/06 Rubric are discussed as a basis for consideration regarding online teaching strategies. The amalgamations of these standards as it relates to course objectives are also presented as an initial methodology for developing an online course that contains an experiential learning component.
