This study aims to probe into the effect of using eportfolio for learning goal setting on self-regulated learning. The subjects were 40 second-year students (18 males and 22 females) of a high school, who were enrolled in the “Webpage Design” course. The experimental teaching lasted for ten weeks, and the students used eportfolio for learning goal setting. The results showed that better goal setting performance leads to better self-regulated learning. These results indicated that using eportfolio for learning goal setting significantly and positively influences the students’ self-regulated learning.
