In this paper I will discuss a new approach to the traditional entry exams of Cultural management EQF level 6 degree program. We developed a novel form of online exam which measures all the traditional abilities but also teach the applicants about the subject. The entry exam itself is a free online course for all to take. If they pass, the students/applicants will get a grade and credits. If they get accepted, the studies will be counted towards the degree. If they fail, or see that this was not their calling, it is just as good. In either case, it is a win-win situation or us as a university and for the student prospects. We hope that by taking a proactive stance and by developing the exams, Humak can encourage open discussion about improving the practices in this field.
