Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between early experiences with technology and teacher candidates’ self-created images depicting their teaching, future classroom, and to determine if instances of technology exist within these images. The study used an early technology experience survey and a modified version of the “Draw a Science Teacher Teaching-Checklist (DASTT-C) in conjunction with brief narrative descriptions of the drawings. Teacher Candidates enrolled in a required educational technology class were the study participants. This presentation focused on results of this study.
