Abstract
Panel members will discuss some major areas to be covered in a digital storytelling teaching unit and how it might be implemented with both K-12 and pre-service teachers. These include:
·Creating a multimedia story from idea to publication.
·Working with media. personal computer. and the materials of digital story.
·The power of the narrative storytelling approach.
·Writing for a digital medium, storyboarding and revision techniques.
·Economizing text and communicating using multi-media.
·Creating context and pace with visual and video elements of story.
·Engaging both targeted and broad audiences with a multimedia story.
·Applications of the digital story process in and out of classrooms.
. The role of digital storytelling in the both PT3 pre-service and teacher development process.
