Abstract
This session provides an overview of how preservice teachers developed an understanding of interdisciplinary teaching after participating in a STEM summer institute and how they applied their technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) through the design and implementation of interdisciplinary units during their full-time internship (Mishra & Koehler, 2006). TPACK served as the conceptual framework for the study and the foundation for the summer institute.
