Abstract

Discussion of use of the Internet in educational settings focuses on providing specific information for elementary and secondary school personnel to increase their awareness and utilization of the Internet. Topics include accessing the Internet; school access; origins of the Internet; electronic mail; discussion groups, or listservs; newsgroups; and Telnet and FTP (file transfer protocol). (Author/LRW)
