Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a computer literacy course on the use of computer applications in school of education of a large Turkish university. A one-group pre-test post-test research design has been used. Results indicate that the course had a significant positive influence on pre-service teachers' perceived computer self-efficacy on course related specific tasks. However, no significant influence was observed on pre-service teachers' attitudes toward computers.
