Abstract
Fault-Tolerance Learning Environment combines multiple aspects of pedagogies, types of representations, perspectives of object-oriented concepts, and channels of knowledge or information communications. This paper describes a methodology to acquire and locate static/dynamic knowledge to support and enhance a Fault-Tolerance Learning Environment with adaptive teaching and learning strategies within Cognitive, Object-Oriented Teaching Model (COOTM) in mathematical system. Owing to learners and learners’ characteristics in learning will change constantly, a single development of digital materials may not satisfy the essential situations. Furthermore, the adaptive teaching and learning strategy selections need to be able to adapt individual learning behaviors in time dynamically. This web-based mathematical system may appropriately change strategies and respond to requirements in mixed-initiative interactions with learners.
