Abstract

A ground-breaking approach to global awareness, an iStory Tour provides tour participants access to 21st century learning tools, such as wireless laptops, digital cameras, and voice recorders, allowing them to create blogs, podcasts, and digital stories while engaged in meaningful global travel. The January 2007 Kean University iStory Tour: Costa Rica was the first of its kind in higher education, bring together college faculty and staff, K-12 educators, and preservice teachers in this unique 21st century learning experience. Documentation of iStory Tour participants will be included in this presentation
