Abstract

This study evaluated whether the use of the software, World of Photography, designed by the author, successfully transmitted information about basic photography to its users. The software was tested on a group of thirty high school Photography I students to examine if the results were significant. The students who participated in this study were given a pretest on the information taught by the software; the material was presented in a step-by-step approach; the students were given a post-test to compare the results. A paired t-test was performed to analyze the difference in mean scores. Since there was a significant rise in scores, the hypothesis that the software can effectively transmit information was supported.
