Abstract
Abstract: Along with the ease of use and standardized look of online management tools, a new set of instructional and pedagogical issues is emerging. Among these issues are providing effective activities for classes of varying sizes and adapting the online environment to act as the proxy for an in-class (or face-to-face) discussion. The purpose of this paper is to discuss these issues and share examples of effective case-based online activities.
