Abstract
Communication, collaboration and coordination become more and more important aspects in university teaching. The role of the lecturer changes from instructor to tutor or coach. In order to support coaching activities various tools are available on the market. But most students have only little or no experience with collaborative tools. Furthermore motivation, engagement and initiative of students are not at all at one level. This makes it difficult to implement new tools for computer supported learning. This article focuses particularly on the usage of communication, collaboration and cooperation instruments among students in two different seminars.
