The University of Scranton offers a Masters Degree program for Educational Administration and one in Curriculum and Instruction on-campus and on-line. The On-Line program was designed to operate under the same requirements as that offered to students who attend regular classes on campus. For the On-Line students, the normal semester class was compressed into eight week segments. The practicum for Administrators is a two-part program that includes 115 hours of experience in both the elementary and secondary school setting. This paper presents a model for the practicum component of this on-line masters degree program which meets both University and State certification requirements.
