Abstract

With the rapid utilization of web technologies in education fields, the transformation of essential concepts of learning and teaching strategies has been gaining a great deal of attention among foreign language educators recently. The study introduced the meaningful integration of key principles of Situated Learning Theory into practical applications for foreign language learning. Also, it elaborated the design framework on how to create learner-oriented online environments for Chinese language learning.
