This paper introduces the DDK (Distributed & Dynamic Knowledge) model, i.e. a theoretical and practical tool for describing and understanding technology-enhanced learning processes. The model focuses on the knowledge flows that take place within an experience, involving the various actors (teachers, learners, outside helpers of various kinds, …). A graphic rendering, the DDK-morphology is also proposed, to allow an at a glance understanding of the knowledge flows that characterize a learning process. The main argument of this paper is that DDK (and the corresponding morphology) is a powerful way to describe, understand and design technology-based educational experiences.
