Abstract

A survey was conducted in May 2003 to evaluate the effectiveness of NIE's ICT training effort. A questionnaire was mailed to 4,287 NIE graduates who graduated in the years of 1999-2001. About 70% of the questionnaires were returned. An analysis of the questionnaires revealed that majority of the graduates thought our ICT preparation was effective or very effective. However, the degree of satisfaction varied among the teachers who teach at different school levels. A general trend is that the higher level the teachers teach, the less they were happy with NIE's ICT training.
